The Junior Kindergarten group worked in a collaborative effort to create this visually intriguing piece of artwork. During the month of February our students completed a unit around the theme “My Planet Earth”. In this unit they looked at different physical characteristics of the Earth, it’s eco-system, climate change and how we can help to protect it. Connecting these ideas to our Visual Arts Education class, where we were exploring the physical qualities of paint while learning about symmetrical shapes; as a result we were able to create the illusion of an ever-changing planet free of any restricting borders.</p>
